03. Support and Community
Support and Community
We want you to have all of the support you need to succeed in this program. Here are the places to go when you have a question, get stuck, or just want to connect with others:
Knowledge
As part of this program, you now have access to Knowledge — our proprietary search-based learning platform for asked and answered questions. As you work through projects you will encounter many of the same challenges your classmates have. If you have a question, search for it here. If you don't see it, ask it here. If you have an answer, share it here (and build up your stats). In a hurry for a deadline - you can filter by project and get the FAQ. Knowledge is a powerful platform for making rapid progress in your Nanodegree program and helping other students.
You'll be able to access Knowledge from anywhere in this program. Just look for one of these icons:
If you have a question, chances are that someone else has already asked. You can find existing questions and FAQs by using the search bar and filters.
When you find a topic, you'll be able to add and vote on answers, as well as reply to answers with comments. Answers are ranked by their votes, and you can choose an accepted answer for your own posts.
If you can't find an answer, click the post button in the top right corner to create a new topic. We also encourage students to post the answers they get from mentors in Study Groups.
Your Study Group
As part of your Nanodegree program, you're now part of a Study Group, along with your classmates and several expert mentors in the Udacity classroom. You can meet this group in your Classroom directly, and you can chat with the group throughout your program.
You'll also unlock different rooms as you complete and pass your projects. Each room will include mentors who are certified to review that project and available to help you and your peers prior to submitting your projects for review. As you progress through the videos and work on projects, you will find a community of students and mentors online from around the world, helping and pushing each other towards graduation.
You can get to your Study Group any time—just look for this icon at the left side of the page:
Project Reviews
For each project you submit, you will receive feedback on your code and other project documents from Udacity's network of Reviewers.
Please allow up to 7 days for your project to be reviewed. You'll receive an email from us when your review is complete.
If you don't pass the project, you can submit your project again after you incorporate the valuable feedback you received. There is no penalty for multiple project submissions. What matters to us is that you are making progress with every attempt.
